tuesday bonfire

Last week we didn't have classes on wednesday, so tuesday night we went to Huntington beach for a bonfire! smores, scary stories, volleyball, and guitar playing... it was so so so fun!

some slight changes...

the big excitement last week was the fact that i suddenly decided to cut 6 inches of my hair off, it is a fun change and so far im loving it! i got it cut at the citrus college beauty school which is literally right next door to APU... and it was only $7. :) that was last tuesday... and this tuesday katie and i were feeling spontaneous, so we went over to the beauty school and got our hair highlighted! neither of us had ever dyed our hair before so it was a new experience!
a full highlight for only $20 bucks, thats pretty good! The pictures at the basketball game were taken RIGHT after we did it, and it never looks good after they style it for you, so hopefully there will be better pictures soon!

wow sorry its been a while!!!!!

Ive kinda been slacking off a bit on the blogging... sorry about that. But i thought this event was worthy of being blogged!!! After a day of cloudy skies yesterday and looking like it was gonna rain, last night we had thunder and lightning which was so fun, but just as it was getting intense, we found ourselves in the middle of a hail storm!! Within minutes, Azusa was covered in white, and it looked like snow! This was around 1am, but it felt like the whole student body came out to play and have snowball fights in their pajamas, and i was right there with them! It hailed for probably a good 10 minutes straight, and it was almost too much excitement for one night! Here are some pictures...

today (saturday) chelsy and i woke up and decided to be spontaneous! We caught a ride to the metro station and hopped on the train to Chinatown! It was such an adventure, and we had so much fun just walking around and taking pictures (i only included a few) and eating great food and the best smoothies we have ever tasted, and we even bought two pet turtles! gah!

Friday night was our first dance at APU, unfortunately this year happened to be the first year that it has ever sold out, and i happened to be the first person to NOT be able to get tickets. That sucked, but me and my date, Mark, and my other friends Katie and Nick who didnt get tickets either had way more fun than anybody :) we still got dressed up and went out to dinner with everybody, then simply thought of LA as our "playground" for the night :)

we went and got cheesecake at the cheesecake factory, had quite a funny experience with the valet, had a hilarious waitress, ate the most incredible cheesecake i have ever eaten in my life, drove through the middle of nowhere with the help of Nicole (the GPS), thought about going to a movie but went ice skating instead! By the time we were finished ice skating, it was time to meet up with our friends again and the night is still young!

for my alpha group's very last meeting on tuesday, we had a paint war, one of many that happen periodically here at APU :) it was so much fun, we love alpha!!

sarah and allie came to visit!

sarah and allie rode the train and the metrolink from santa barbara to azusa on friday to visit me for the weekend! they stayed until sunday and left around noon, but while they were here it was so fun! i loved seeing them and having them here to sleep with me since chelsy was gone so i would've been all alone in my room! :( i love you girls, thank you for cominggg!
